Kingdom of Myabra
The last conquered kingdom of the four. Its old capitol intentionally razed and “New Myabra” built from the wreckage up the river at what would become the great library. After the centuries of stability it’s mostly known for that library and being a center of learning. The city is built around the large library campus and shaped in deference to the 8 gates of learning in the wall surrounding it. Imperial presence is the most controlling here and never relaxed from a posture of occupying force across the centuries. At the end of the empire it was also the first to rebel under the leadership of Raseebo Seeng. Taking advantage of a sudden weakening of the emperor days before it actually happened. It is unknown whether Seeng or someone near her knew what was coming, caused the sudden confusion at the imperial court, or were simply extremely lucky. As a region it is known for its wine and cuisine integrating food styles from across the empire. The tail end of the Kiereth Highland hills (an area of conflict between the two in pre-imperial times) is traditionally Myabran and is home to a few rare gem mines.
