 Planes-touched:   Planes-touched:
Those touched by the other planes of existence (ifrit, sylph, aasimar, tieflings, etc.) are less common than the others on this page and do not have their own centers of population.  But taken as a group are still common enough that any large city will have small, probably mixed, groups that can be found.  On Eolanara, they are very much socially in the same category as sorcerers, magical oddities, probably powerful.  Someone who is probably rich but also not to be trifled with lightly.  On Visteria however they used to be sacred.  Followers of the old ways will still show reverence, and are fairly common.  Imperial policy for many years has been to imprison or destroy them and their worship.  As is the nature of such programs, lingering sentiment against the planes-touched is common in large cities.  The exception being Myabra which never did fully integrate into the empire... Though sentiment there will vary wildly. +Kobolds:
+A people well known for their tendency to make a home in nearly any location, they are also drawn to places and beings of power.  That said, it is not typical to welcome them openly and their treatment is often as vermin.  While you can find them almost anywhere in the world, there are some noteworthy areas of concentration where they have been able to make themselves useful to the settlements they join.\\
+The Isle of Mysteries had a stubborn colony of them that finally built a niche serving as caretakers and guardians on the grounds of the magic school.  In a similar way the Spire of Glass has an excellent relationship with it's diverse population of kobolds there.  They are a continual presence in the mountains that border the kingdom of Rhen as well, both as raiders and as people trying to find a more settled life.  The later rarely get a warm welcome because of the former.  They also clash regularly with the underdark cultures due to centuries of conflict and the rather isolationist nature of Drow culture.

 +Merfolk:\\
+Having recently gained some visibility, merfolk come in two very different varieties.  The traditional fish/people and the far more alien deeplovers.  Neither interact with landbound races very often, though deeplovers rarely even interact with their more shallow dwelling cousins, virtually never having contact with land dwellers.  There are two known areas of high concentration.  A vast shallow section of the ocean east of Eolanara and also the continental shelf off the northwest corner of Eolanara.
