-	Primary industry is limited woodwork and lumber and the mining of the dwarves.  A number of spices and other grown things can only be found in the area but food crops are harder to grow making this an area of lower population but on average better educated and more affluent than their neighbors.  The long stability of the empire has strengthened this trend even as imperial taxes extracted much from the area.  Post empire Kiereth has technically rebelled, but is largely kept separate from the conflict by having the only direct access between them and Visteria locked behind the massive dwarven fortifications of the western entrance to Jathra Delving.
